You will work closely with a highly respected Partner who is also a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, gaining exposure to a broad range of insolvency and corporate recovery matters. The team acts predominantly for insolvency practitioners, including liquidators, administrators, and trustees in bankruptcy, providing high-quality legal advice on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters. You will assist with and progressively take responsibility for a varied caseload of insolvency and recovery matters, including, advising insolvency practitioners on formal insolvency appointments, corporate recovery and restructuring matters, insolvency-related litigation and dispute resolution, company law and director-related issues, asset recovery matters, supporting clients through complex insolvency processes, business development and networking activities. Applications are welcomed from Solicitors at all levels, including those who are newly qualified or due to qualify. The successful legal professional will possess a genuine interest in insolvency and corporate recovery law, have strong communication skills and a client-focused approach, excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities, a proactive and commercial mindset and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively. While not essential, experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous: Commercial Litigation, Company Law, Commercial Contracts, Commercial Property, General Commercial Law.
