Workchain Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join a busy retail distribution operation based in Burton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position . You will be responsible for completing store deliveries, working with roll cages, and providing an excellent service to customers at each delivery point.
The Role: Driving a Class 2 vehicle delivering goods to retail stores and commercial locations
Completing multi-drop store deliveries across the local and regional area
Delivering and collecting roll cages at customer sites
Loading and unloading cages safely and efficiently
Completing vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
Ensuring all delivery paperwork and documentation is completed accurately
Providing professional and friendly customer service at every delivery point
Complying with all road transport legislation, including drivers hours and tachograph regulations
Requirements: Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
Experience with store deliveries, multi-drop work, or cage deliveries is advantageous
Good knowledge of drivers hours and working time regulations
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
