Job description

About Eucalyptus

We’re on a mission to make good health last a lifetime. More than 1 billion people live with obesity worldwide, driving preventable chronic conditions. We’re here to build better long‑term care.

Euc is the company behind Juniper, one of the world’s largest weight‑management programs combining GLP‑1 medication with personalised nutrition, movement support, and clinician‑led care from prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians. Compound, focused on longevity and preventive health, complements this ecosystem and extends our mission to make good health last a lifetime.

Our published clinical research shows that our combined clinical and behavioural approach helps patients lose significantly more weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times.

Our Growth Story

  • 130% YoY revenue growth and a 90% reduction in cash burn, with $100M+ raised from investors including BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree.
  • Scaled to over 100,000 monthly active patients across our weight‑management program.
  • Grew the UK patient base from 4,000 to ~40,000 and received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS.
  • Tailored our offering to over 5,000 patients in Germany and Japan

About the Role (What you’ll be doing)

As a Senior People Partner, you’ll be a strategic advisor, trusted challenger, and operational leader – enabling high‑performing teams to thrive. You’ll work directly with business leaders to shape culture, grow capability, and drive people decisions that are commercially sound, context‑aware, and grounded in care.

Strategic Partnership

  • Coach for Impact: Partner with leaders to understand their goals, challenge assumptions, and influence stronger, more deliberate decisions. Support them to lead with clarity, confidence, and consistency.
  • Build Leadership Capability: Equip leaders to have the right conversations, especially when expectations aren’t being met. Drive accountability and shape approaches to performance, reward, and recognition that are fair, consistent, and aligned to business goals.
  • Resolve Complex Issues: Provide expert, context‑aware guidance on nuanced people matters, including underperformance, complaints, employee disputes, and visa requirements, across multiple markets.
  • Think Two Steps Ahead: Anticipate business shifts, identify risks and opportunities early, and shape workforce strategy and planning accordingly.

People Operations and Enablement

  • Use Data to Influence: Bring clarity through metrics. Use insights to support planning, performance management, compensation, and engagement.
  • Improve What We Own: Continuously iterate on our People Systems, and Processes — making them clearer, leaner, and more scalable.
  • Deliver at Scale: Own or support the delivery of key people programs, including performance and remuneration cycles, engagement initiatives, audits, and other critical touchpoints - ensuring they land with consistency and impact.

About you (Who you are)

  • 5+ years in a strategic HR Manager or People Business Partner role within a high‑performance environment (e.g. tech, high‑growth startup, or consulting)
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance (bonus points for familiarity with German or South African employment frameworks)
  • Experience managing direct reports and supporting people leaders across functions
  • Proficient in tracking and interpreting people metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including performance reviews, remuneration cycles, and audits

Behaviours & Attitudes

  • Commercially minded and strategic, you balance business priorities with empathy and sound judgement
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong sense of ownership—able to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably
  • Detail‑oriented and organised, with a bias for execution and continuous improvement

Why join Eucalyptus?

Euc is also behind a growing family of digital healthcare clinics (Pilot, Kin, Software) across men’s health and well‑being, fertility, and skincare.

Here’s what makes joining Euc unique

  • What’s next – Our goal for the next three years is to support 1 million patients globally to live better for longer. We’re launching into new conditions, demographics, and geographies as we build a truly preventive healthcare ecosystem.
  • Build something world‑changing – We’re on the path to becoming the world’s largest international digital healthcare company. It will be challenging, fast‑paced, and deeply rewarding.
  • Make real impact – You will deliver work that directly shapes patient outcomes and scales evidence‑based care across markets.
  • Accelerate your growth – You will have high ownership, continuous feedback, and dedicated development support.
  • Join a motivated team – You will collaborate with talented peers to solve complex clinical and operational problems at scale.

What’s ahead in the UK

  • Be an owner – Your own stake in the business with our employee options program
  • Invest in your growth – Annual development budget plus 3 days of professional development leave
  • Work flexibly – Hybrid setup with 3 days a week in our Old Street office, designed for focus and collaboration
  • Support your well‑being – Private health insurance through Vitality or opt for a monthly wellness allowance to spend on what matters most to you
  • Take time off – 25 days of holiday, enhanced parental leave and work from anywhere 3 weeks out of the year
  • Join a connected team – A vibrant office culture with regular socials, clubs, after‑school sport, and seasonal events

At Eucalyptus, we value individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we embrace the unique qualities each person brings. When you apply, please let us know of any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process.
