Job description
Field Service Engineer (CAP/LOLER) £40,000 - £45,000 (£55,000 OTE) + Company Van (with private use) + Fuel Card + Tech Package + Manufacturer Training Provided + Great On-Site Facilities + On-Call Bonuses Basildon Are you a CAP Certified Engineer, or similar looking for a varied new role working within a rapidly growing company that offer excellent remuneration and additional training? Do you want to work a well organised and well run business, with an opportunity to greatly increase your earning's through overtime? This company are access platforms specialists that have been established for over three decades. Providing expertise in modern access machinery that are designed for confined spaces and weight restricted areas - providing unique solutions to their expanding client list. This role is a blend of workshop based repairs and refurbishments as well as on-site LOLER examinations and repairs. With most of the work based around London and the home counties, but other clients all over the UK, this role will occasionally require extensive travel and lodging. The suitable candidate will be CAP Certified and have proven experience in a similar role. It is also essential that the right candidate has accurate written and verbal skills to successfully complete all relevant paperwork and communicate professionally to clients in this customer facing role. The Role: Complete LOLER examinations on customer sites around the UK Service and refurbish Access Equipment such as Scissor Lifts, Booms, Specialist Narrow Access Platforms and Spider Lifts Pre Delivery product inspections Outside customer LOLER inspections, servicing and repairs Completion of all relevant paper work through effective written communication and give accurate progress reports to customers through confident verbal communication Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30 with call out for one week of the month (additional remuneration included) The Person: CAP Certificate and IPAF Certificate Willingness to occasionally lodge when travelling further afield Job Reference: BBBH26496 Keywords: LOLER, Inspection, Training, Access Equipment, Billericay, Essex, Cherry Pickers, Scissor Lifts, Travel, Lodging, Workshop, Field, CAP, IPAF, London, Servicing, Refurbishing If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
