Registered Home Manager (RGN/RMN)
£50,000–£60,000 per year | 37.5 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a beautiful, family-run nursing home nestled in the countryside, where personalised care, strong relationships, and a genuine sense of community are at the heart of everything they do. As a small nursing home, the service offers a warm, welcoming environment where residents are truly known as individuals and staff work together to deliver outstanding care for older adults, including those living with dementia.
The provider is looking for a Nurse Qualified Registered Home Manager (RGN or RMN) to lead the service. Whilst they would ideally like someone with previous Registered Home Manager experience, they are also keen to hear from an exceptional Deputy Nurse Manager who can demonstrate a strong track record of success, stability, and longevity within previous roles.
This is a Monday to Friday position, with the flexibility to support the needs of the home and respond to emergencies when required.
What We're Looking For
Active NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager is preferred.
Strong Deputy Nurse Managerswith an excellent track record and long-term career history will also be considered.
Previous experience within older adult and dementia care is essential.
Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
Experience managing quality, compliance, budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.

Your Role
Provide overall leadership and management of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating a positive and supportive culture.
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and clinical governance standards.
Monitor and improve quality, clinical outcomes, and operational performance across the home.
Work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure outstanding person-centred care.
Manage staffing, budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively to support the ongoing success of the service.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the warm, family-oriented values of the home.
Be available to provide leadership support outside of standard hours when the needs of the service or emergencies require.
