Job description
Your New Company Hays are partnering with a leading organisation undergoing an exciting period of business transformation and digital innovation. As part of their continued investment in data and analytics, they are seeking a Data Analyst to join their growing Business Transformation team. Your New Role As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You'll work with business stakeholders to develop reports, analyse complex datasets, create insightful dashboards and identify opportunities for business improvement. Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining SQL queries, datasets and reporting solutions; Building dashboards and KPI reporting using Power BI and related tools Analysing data to identify trends, risks and opportunities; collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable business insights; Supporting automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform; Contributing to AI-enabled analytics and modern data solutions Ensuring data accuracy, governance and reporting standards are maintained. What You'll Need to Succeed: Degree qualification in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field At least 1 year's experience in a Data Analyst or similar role; Strong SQL and data analysis skills Advanced Excel capability Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Desirable: Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or modern data platforms Understanding of data modelling and database structures What You'll Get in Return Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on high-profile transformation projects Exposure to modern analytics, automation and AI technologies Ongoing professional development and career progression: Collaborative and supportive working environment.
