  • Requisition Plant & Materials as necessary to support the works and meet the requirements of the programme;
  • Produce and communicate risk assessment / method statements to the site supervision or Operatives as deemed necessary;
  • Prepare short term programmes for Temporary works, Design, Procurement or work packages as required to meet the Master Programme;
  • Provide technical review / appraisal of services, products and sub-contract works within the project;
  • Competent in the use of standard computer software packages and Document Control systems.
  • Ensure detailed knowledge of the Project Specification and familiarisation with the Contract so that all permanent works are in accordance with the works information;
  • Establish a detailed understanding of the Scope of Works so that no works are progressed outside this scope without a formal site instruction. Where necessary raise an Early Warning Notice to communicate a risk to the client;
  • Maintain a Site Diary and ensure the Engineering Team follow suit. Where Extension of Time or other Claims are being pursued be pro-active in referring to the diary and providing back-up details;
  • Awareness of Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety issues on site and relevant Byrne Bros Policy.
