The Opportunity: Workshop EngineerContract: PermanentLocation: Gwynedd Forklifts, Conwy DepotEstablished in 1986 to sell, hire, service and repair forklift trucks to the North Wales region and now growing to a multi-site operation with bases in Conwy, North Wales and Oswestry in Shropshire; Gwynedd Forklifts are the biggest material handling and powered access company in Wales.

Gwynedd Forklifts has been acquired by The Briggs Equipment Group who are a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.
If you don't feel like you meet all of the role criteria outlined below, please don't let that discourage you from applying.As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment within the workshop.
You will ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, minimising downtime and maintaining equipment reliability.
Tasks must be completed within agreed timescales, while adhering to company procedures and health and safety requirements.
In addition, you will provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to Apprentices, helping to develop their technical skills and knowledge.The Impact you will have:The service and maintenance of diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipmentFault finding, planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucksMaintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areasAdhering to all health and safety guidelines and workshop rulesCompleting job cards and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are orderedWhat will help you to excel in this role:Experience of working on either; cars, forklifts, plant equipment, cleaning machines, powered access, HGV's or similar.
