This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and we have a variety of shift patterns including Nights (between 16:00
- 19:00 starts).

Ideal shift patterns are below:Monday to Friday NightsThursday to Monday NightsWe offer flexibility in shift patterns, so if these start dates and times dont quite suit your availability, let us know what youre looking for, well do our best to accommodate your preferences.Pay Rates:We have increased our pay rates , with rates now ranging from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour , depending on shift giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.Mon-Fri Days

- £15.80 per hourSaturday and Sunday Day Shift
- £17.60 per hourSaturday and Sunday Night Shift
- £18.10 per hourBank Holidays
- £18.41 per hour.On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance, and £25 per night out tax-free allowance (if applicable)Driver Responsibilities:General Haulage with Curtainside trailers, to Distribution Centres and StoresSupporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and requirement to load and unload cagesCompleting all necessary vehicle checks and documentationMaintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalismWorking closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operationsAdhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.Qualifications You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.Excellent communication skills.Additional Information As part of our drive to make Stobarta great place to work.
