Applicants are invited for a fixed‑term Consultant Radiologist post at Worthing Hospital. The role requires a thorough grounding in clinical radiology, including ultrasound and cross‑sectional skills. We welcome subspecialty interests, particularly in head and neck or neuroradiology. The successful candidate will join the general on‑call rota, have good cross‑sectional skills in body and emergency imaging, and support multidisciplinary meetings, teaching, research and management activities.
Teaching and training with rotating radiology trainees and subspecialty training. Participation in the radiology Masters (MSc) program at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. A formal job plan will be agreed within three months of appointment and reviewed annually, covering clinical work, teaching, research, education and managerial responsibilities. Expected working pattern includes 8.5 clinical activity hours per week and 1.5 professional activity hours per week, with opportunities for home reporting and acute hot reporting. On‑call commitments include evenings, weekends and overnight duties as per the Trust’s rotating scheme.
