As part of a friendly and supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare and early years education, helping children build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve their full potential through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Key Responsibilities * Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children aged 0–5 can learn, play, and thrive. * Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that support childrens development in line with the EYFS framework. * Observe, assess, and record childrens progress, supporting their individual learning journeys. * Build positive and professional relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues. * Encourage childrens social, emotional, and physical development through engaging play and learning experiences. * Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies to maintain the highest standards of care. * Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and general classroom organisation. Requirements * Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent). * Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting is desirable. * Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and current safeguarding procedures. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * A positive, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young children. * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
