As Director of Project Management in our Infrastructure team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering our strategy for expansion across new geographies, emerging sectors, and evolving service lines. This is a senior leadership opportunity with the autonomy to shape and grow your own area of the business within the Walker Sime brand.

There are lots of sectors we currently either don't operate in or only scratch the surface of - and we're actively looking for people who can help us change that. We want to strengthen our expertise and leadership in areas like Nuclear, Defence, Renewables, Carbon Capture, Utilities, Data Centres, and Rail and Highways. We're also keen to speak with anyone who can open up new clients or further grow our presence in sectors where we're already strong, like Power and Energy.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and grow our Project Management offering across key infrastructure sectors
• Build lasting client relationships and secure new work across geographies, sectors, and services
• Operate your team with an entrepreneurial mindset - effectively running it as your own business unit
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team through your reputation and industry network
• Stay close to your market - understanding where opportunities are, what's coming next, and who the key players are
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to shape and deliver growth across the wider Infrastructure team

What You'll Bring

You’ll have :

• A proven track record of leading infrastructure projects and teams
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to win, deliver, and grow client work
• Experience in a senior consultancy role with full understanding of P&L ownership and team leadership
• A respected industry profile in your chosen sector or region
• A strong network and ideally at least one client relationship you could bring with you
• A growth mindset - someone excited by the challenge of building, shaping, and leading
