Key Stage 1 Teacher - Mansfield, Nottinghamshire - September 2026

Job Title: Key Stage 1 Teacher Location: Primary schools across Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary Employer: Academics (education agency)

Are you a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire?

Academics is working with a variety of welcoming primary schools across the area and is recruiting dedicated KS1 Teachers for temporary supply roles starting in September 2026.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term assignments or longer-term placements, Academics can help you find a role that suits your lifestyle while gaining experience in a range of school settings.

What We Offer

* Competitive daily pay of £140 to £190 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), dependent upon experience, qualifications and responsibility of the role. * Paid weekly through PAYE. * Flexible working to fit around your availability. * Opportunities to work in a variety of primary schools across Mansfield. * Access to continuous professional development (CPD). * Ongoing support from your dedicated Academics consultant. * £125 Love2shop voucher through our Refer a Friend scheme (subject to terms and conditions). * Opportunities to secure long-term or permanent teaching roles.

Your Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

* Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. * Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment. * Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. * Adapt confidently to different primary school settings. * Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents. * Follow all school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1. * An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one. * A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training. * Excellent classroom management and communication skills. * The right to work in the UK.
