Job description

My client, a leading law firm specialising in corporate, litigation and real estate work, is now looking to recruit a Development & Inclusion Administrator to join their wider People team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator looking to build a career within Learning & Development, Inclusion & Diversity, Employee Engagement, and wider HR. Working within a collaborative People team, you will support a variety of initiatives designed to enhance employee development, wellbeing, inclusion, and workplace culture across the firm.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in coordinating programmes and events, managing communications, maintaining records and reporting data, while also supporting the use of technology and AI tools to improve engagement and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Development & Inclusion function and wider People team.
  • Coordinate workshops, training programmes, wellbeing initiatives and firm-wide events.
  • Manage calendars, meeting arrangements, bookings and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking documents relating to learning, inclusion and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor attendance, gather feedback and assist with programme reporting and analysis.
  • Create and update internal communications, presentations, intranet content and awareness campaign materials.
  • Utilise AI and digital tools to support research, content creation and administrative efficiencies.
  • Work alongside internal communications and marketing teams to help promote people-focused initiatives.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and invoice processing.
  • Act as a key point of contact for development and inclusion-related enquiries.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR, Learning & Development, Inclusion & Diversity or a professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships across all levels of a business.
  • A professional and confidential approach when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Supporting Learning & Development, Inclusion & Diversity, Wellbeing, Culture or Corporate Responsibility initiatives.
  • Creating engaging presentations, newsletters, digital content or internal communications.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar platforms.
  • Coordinating events, projects or employee engagement activities.

Why apply?

In return, my client offers a highly competitive benefits package, including:

  • Generous annual leave entitlement, with the option to purchase additional holiday.
  • Hybrid working arrangements.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Enhanced pension scheme.
  • Life assurance and income protection.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives, including fitness and wellness sessions.
  • Season ticket loan and cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Employee referral bonuses.
  • A supportive and inclusive working environment with genuine opportunities for career development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded law firm where people are genuinely valued, and where inclusion, wellbeing and professional development remain key priorities across the business.
