PBS Practitioner – Supported Living

Harley House Supported Living

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full-time

Closing Date: Thursday 13th August

Harley House Supported Living is seeking two skilled and
compassionate PBS Practitioners to join our supported living services.

You will work directly with autistic, individuals with
learning disabilities, physical and mental health conditions, acquired brain
injury, sensory impairment and/or behaviours that may challenge, developing and
embedding Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans that improve quality of life
and reduce reliance on restrictive practices. You will work closely with
individuals, their families, support teams and the wider multidisciplinary team
to ensure support is proactive, person-centred and evidence based.

Interviews will be held on Monday 17th August and
Wednesday 19th August.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Care, you'll play a key role in
embedding Positive Behaviour Support across our supported living services in
North East Essex, Ipswich and Norwich.

Working alongside the people we support, their families,
support teams and multidisciplinary professionals, you'll:

  • Complete
    behavioural and functional assessments.

  • Develop,
implement and review high-quality PBS plans.

  • Coach
and mentor support teams through real-time practice and training.

  • Analyse
    behavioural data to improve outcomes.

  • Support
    complex transitions into services.

  • Champion
restrictive practice reduction and quality-of-life outcomes.

  • Promote
evidence-based, ethical practice in line with UKSBA standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified
to Level 6 PBS Diploma or above (or BSc/MSc in ABA/PBS).

  • A UKSBA
    member
    (or eligible to join).

  • Experienced
in developing and implementing PBS plans within health or social care.

  • Passionate
about person-centred support and human rights.

  • Confident
working collaboratively with families, support teams and multidisciplinary
    professionals.

  • Skilled
at coaching others and embedding positive practice.

  • A
confident communicator with excellent analytical and report-writing
    skills.

  • A
car driver with a full UK driving licence and willing to travel across our
    services.

Why Join Harley House?

At Harley House Supported Living, you'll become part of a
supportive organisation committed to doing things differently. We invest in our
people, value innovation, and empower our teams to make a genuine difference
every day.

Our values are simple:

  • SAFE
    – Putting people at the centre of everything we do.

  • SOUND
    – Delivering evidence-based, high-quality support.

  • SUPPORTIVE
    – Empowering people to achieve their goals and aspirations.

If you're passionate about Positive Behaviour Support and
want to help shape outstanding supported living services, we'd love to hear
from you.
