Job description

Please note this role is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 14 months.

Location: London (Dean Street, Soho) | Hybrid: 2 days in the office per week

Every day, we go beyond expectations to help millions of people save money, at a time when it’s never mattered more. Through MoneySuperMarket, MoneySavingExpert, Quidco and our B2B partnerships, we help more than 24 million people make better financial decisions each month, saving UK households billions of pounds every year. It’s work we’re incredibly proud of.

We're now looking for a People Experience and Development Partner to join our People and Workplace team on a fixed-term basis. You'll play a key role in shaping how colleagues learn, grow and thrive across MONY Group.

This is a rare opportunity to influence colleague experience at scale. From learning and leadership development to AI capability, engagement and inclusion, you'll help create the programmes, tools and experiences that enable our people to do their best work and build successful careers.

What makes us different

This isn't a traditional Learning & Development role.

You'll join a small, high-impact team that sits at the heart of MONY Group's people strategy. Our People Experience and Development team brings together learning and development, employee engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion, giving you the opportunity to shape a wide range of initiatives while building expertise across multiple disciplines.

Colleague experience is one of MONY Group's biggest priorities, and you'll have the freedom to influence programmes that genuinely improve how people learn, connect and grow. Whether you're evolving our learning platforms, helping colleagues embrace AI, reimagining mentoring and coaching, or strengthening inclusion across the business, your work will have visible impact.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team of three where ideas are valued, development is encouraged and everyone has the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

About the role

At MONY Group, we're reimagining how people learn, grow and thrive at work. As our People Experience and Development Partner, you'll play a key role in shaping that journey.

This is an opportunity to drive meaningful change across the organisation; creating development experiences that help colleagues build future-focused skills, grow their careers and do their best work. You'll work with stakeholders at every level, combining insight, creativity, technology and data to deliver initiatives that have a lasting impact on our people and our business.

From building AI capability across the organisation to enhancing leadership development, mentoring programmes and our wider learning ecosystem, you'll be at the forefront of how we develop talent at MONY Group. If you're excited by the future of work, passionate about learning and motivated by making a difference, you'll find plenty of opportunity to leave your mark.

What you'll be doing:

  • Shape the future of learning at MONY Group by leading the evolution of our learning ecosystem, creating engaging and seamless development experiences that colleagues want to use.
  • Unlock the full potential of LinkedIn Learning, embedding it into broader development pathways and building a strong partnership with our external provider.
  • Transform our mandatory learning experience, ensuring learning is relevant, engaging and impactful, including the rollout of our enhanced 2027 framework.
  • Champion AI capability across the business, helping colleagues develop the confidence, skills and mindset needed to thrive in an AI-enabled workplace.
  • Design and deliver high-impact development programmes, spanning leadership, management, change and AI enablement, that support both individual and organisational growth.
  • Reimagine our mentoring and coaching offer, creating experiences that inspire personal development, connection and career progression.
  • Support colleague engagement initiatives, from survey activity to action planning, helping leaders turn insight into meaningful improvements.
  • Drive smarter ways of working by partnering with People Operations and Workplace teams to improve processes, harness automation and enhance the colleague experience.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion and belonging, partnering with colleague networks and business stakeholders to ensure every colleague feels valued, represented and able to succeed.
  • Turn data into action, creating meaningful dashboards and insights that enable senior leaders to make informed decisions and shape future people strategies.

You’ll join at a pivotal time as we continue to evolve how we support our colleagues. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, introduce new ideas, leverage emerging technologies and influence how learning and development is experienced across the entire organisation. The work you do will be visible, valued and have a direct impact on the growth, engagement and success of our people.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines learning and development expertise with curiosity, innovation and a genuine passion for helping people succeed.

You’ll be comfortable moving between strategy and delivery, building strong stakeholder relationships and using data to shape decisions. Most importantly, you’ll enjoy creating experiences that help colleagues develop, feel connected and perform at their best.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience designing, delivering and measuring the impact of learning and development solutions across a variety of audiences, topics and formats.
  • A strong belief in inclusive learning and a commitment to creating development opportunities that are accessible, engaging and equitable for everyone.
  • The ability to think strategically, connect learning initiatives to business goals and translate ideas into meaningful outcomes.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and delivery.
  • A track record of owning, optimising and evolving learning platforms, systems and tools to create a great learner experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for getting things right.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships and influence colleagues at all levels of the organisation and with external partners.
  • The ability to work independently, make informed decisions and effectively prioritise competing demands.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to embrace new ways of working, particularly when it comes to AI, automation and innovative learning approaches.
  • A data-driven mindset, using insights and evidence to shape decisions, measure success and influence change.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience working with Workday, including learning management and engagement tools.
  • Experience partnering with colleague networks, communities or employee resource groups to support inclusion, belonging and culture initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the apprenticeship levy and how it can be used to support workforce development.
  • Familiarity with the MBTI framework and confidence facilitating related development activities.

Why MONY Group?

At MONY Group, you'll find more than just a great role. You'll join a business with a clear purpose, well-loved brands and people who genuinely care about making a difference. Our culture is built on collaboration, curiosity and inclusion, and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone feels they belong and can be themselves.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence the experience of colleagues across the organisation while continuing to invest in your own growth. From mentoring and training opportunities to your own LinkedIn Learning licence with access to thousands of courses, we’ll support you to keep learning too.

  • Up to 30 holidays plus bank holidays.
  • Pension up to 6% employer contribution.
  • Enhanced shared parental leave — 6 months paid for both parents.
  • Work from anywhere scheme — 2 weeks per year.
  • Financial coaching.
  • Mental health platform access.

Our commitment

At MONY Group, we believe in the strength of diversity and see inclusion as a strategic advantage. Our values guide us in creating a workplace where fairness and equity are a reality for all, and we’re committed to minimising systemic bias and creating a level playing field for all candidates.

If you need reasonable adjustments during the application process, please contact us. You don’t need to disclose your disability or condition, simply let us know what you need, and we can guide you through available accommodations.

We know job adverts only say so much. If you’d like to know more before applying (for example about hybrid working, salary or parental leave) please contact Tom on tom.wood@monygroup.com

We also know success isn’t only about ticking every box on a skills checklist. We encourage applications so we can understand the skills and experience you could bring to this role.
