Job description
HGV Class 1 Multi-Drop Drivers Required Earn £1,000+ Per Week | Ongoing Work | Fixed Shift Patterns Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading distribution client based in Northampton. We are looking for professional and reliable drivers with a minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience. With immediate starts available, regular ongoing work and excellent rates of pay, this is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for stability and strong earning potential. Location: Northampton Shift Patterns: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week Start Times: Between 04:00 and 12:00 The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for: * Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to stores * Typically completing 2-6 drops per shift * Delivering across London and surrounding areas * Using a pump truck to safely unload deliveries * Completing delivery paperwork accurately * Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation * Providing a professional and courteous service to customers Pay Rates * £18.52 per hour * £27.78 per hour overtime (paid after 8 hours worked) RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have: * A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence * Valid Driver CPC Qualification * Valid Digital Tachograph Card * A minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience * Previous multi-drop experience is advantageous but not essential * No more than 6 penalty points * No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements * A professional and reliable approach to work What's In It For You? * Ongoing, regular work * Fixed shift patterns * Overtime paid after 8 hours * Excellent earning potential * Immediate starts available * Well-maintained vehicles * Support from a friendly and experienced transport team * Long-term opportunity with a reputable client Apply Today Driver assessments are being booked now, so early applications are encouraged.
