This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.As a Civil Project Engineer you will:Be responsible for Civil Engineering design and delivery on assigned projects, operating up to 400kV.Promote and manage safety within assigned projects through the implementation of CDM procedures and safety in design.
Fulfilling the role of Designer or Principal Designer under CDM.Provide technical input for your specialist discipline as well as interfacing with other technical and project functions to ensure a coordinated approach to project delivery plus identification and resolution of key risks.Be responsible for defining scope and managing budgets for embedded engineering consultants and project driven engineering consultancy services.The ideal profile is someone who has:Degree in appropriate engineering discipline (preferably CEng or working towards this).Knowledge and experience of energy or electricity network industries are preferable.Good technical knowledge of industry standards and specifications, and how to determine applicability of relevant standards. xwwtmva In depth understanding of CDM Regulations.Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision makingIf you are considering what your next role could look like within Transmission, and have a passion for playing a leading role in delivering landmark electrical infrastructure projects, please apply and get in touch with Mark Canning via the link provided for more information
