**The Duty Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various tasks related to inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control.The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.Important Notice:This role is a 12-hour shift pattern, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.
The pattern will be 4 days on, and 4 days off.This role is not remote and the candidate will be required to be on-site at Hursley, Winchester for every shift.Role:To handle incoming technical support incidents, requests and changes.Management of personal call queue, ensuring calls are closed in a timely fashion.Provide updates and ensure ongoing customer communication is maintained.Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server queries.Escalation of calls to 3rd Line Team necessary.To work as part of a close-knit and highly skilled team of engineers.Provide excellent customer service.Work with other internal teams (3rd Line Technical Delivery Teams, Development, Projects, etc.)Perform software builds/re-builds on PCs and laptops as required.Fix hardware faults and install upgrades to client hardware.If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career. xwwtmva Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
