About the role We are looking for an individual to join the Prevention and Aspiration team to carry out Return Home Interviews with young people who have been reported missing from home or care. Working directly with children, young people and families in the home and in community settings to gather their voice and gain an understanding of the reasons why they go missing. To provide information advice, and guidance and to signpost and refer to partner agencies for further support if appropriate. Improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and their families specifically in relation to the Company’s Key Performance Indicators and Supporting Families targets. Working Monday – Friday with flexibility for occasional weekend working. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. We will also carry out an online internet search for information that is publicly available online that might suggest that you are not fit to work with children or young people. We want you to apply if you: * Level 3 or higher qualification in an appropriate discipline. * Level 2 English (Grade C GCSE or equivalent) * Level 2 mathematics (Grade C GCSE or equivalent) * At least one accredited parenting, counselling, play therapy, mental health, domestic abuse, or other relevant family intervention training qualification. Due to recent changes in UKVI rules, this role does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under the updated eligibility requirements effective 22 July 2025. Why work with us?
