This role offers a varied mix of employee relations, policy development, recruitment support, and HR administration, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on the employee experience while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice. The Opportunity As a trusted member of the HR team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters. You’ll be responsible for managing employee relations cases, supporting recruitment, maintaining HR policies, and helping to create a positive and engaging workplace culture. Key Responsibilities * Manage a wide range of employee relations casework, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, probation, and flexible working cases * Coach, support, and advise managers on people management issues, building confidence and capability * Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice * Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition initiatives, including the annual employee survey * Provide guidance throughout recruitment and selection processes * Produce clear and effective HR communications for employees and managers * Maintain accurate HR records and employee data, ensuring GDPR compliance * Produce HR reports and analyse people data to identify trends and support business decisions * Ensure all employee changes are processed accurately and communicated to payroll * Keep up to date with employment legislation and emerging HR best practice, driving continuous improvement across the HR function About You We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, providing practical advice, and delivering an exceptional HR service. You’ll bring: * Experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Generalist role * Proven experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases * Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * The ability to coach and influence managers at all levels * High levels of discretion with the ability to manage confidential information professionally * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Why Join?
