About the role As a Functional Assessor, youll use your clinical expertise to assess how health conditions impact peoples daily lives and ability to work. Its a role that blends medical knowledge with meaningful human connection - giving you the chance to support individuals while contributing to a fair and compassionate benefits system. Youll carry out assessments both face-to-face and via video or phone, taking detailed medical histories and conducting physical examinations. Your findings will help inform accurate, high-quality reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Youll be trusted to work independently, but youll also be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team that values collaboration and continuous learning. Youll bring empathy, clinical insight and a commitment to delivering excellent service and... * A registered Nurse, Paramedic, Occupational Therapist, Pharmacist or Physiotherapist with at least 12 months post-registration UK experience * Confident in clinical decision‑making, with a strong understanding of functional assessment * Skilled communicator, able to build trust and ask the right questions * Digitally capable, with experience using clinical software and systems * Self‑motivated and organised, with a focus on quality and integrity * Team‑oriented, ready to support colleagues and contribute to a positive working culture We believe in rewarding your expertise and supporting your wellbeing.
