Job description
A Manage Engineer Contractor is required to deliver an independent audit of an existing ManageEngine environment in London. This full-time, hybrid contract offers a competitive salary and focuses on assessing modules that are not fully configured or are underutilised. The role involves identifying improvement opportunities and providing practical recommendations to maximise platform value.
The initial consultancy assignment carries potential for extension into a longer-term optimisation project.
Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with ManageEngine tools to deliver clear, actionable findings.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on ManageEngine Consultant to conduct an independent audit of an existing ManageEngine environment. The organisation has invested in several ManageEngine modules; however, they are either not fully configured, poorly configured, or significantly underutilised.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a full audit of the existing ManageEngine environment.
- Review current configurations, workflows, automations, and integrations.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and unused functionality across the platform.
- Produce a detailed report with recommendations and prioritised improvement opportunities.
- Advise on IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices and platform optimisation.
- Work closely with IT leadership and the Service Management function to understand business requirements.
- Support the implementation of recommended improvements should the project progress.
Required Experience
- Proven hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and optimising ManageEngine solutions (particularly ServiceDesk Plus ).
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ITIL best practices.
- Experience conducting technical audits and producing actionable recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide objective, unbiased consultancy.
