Part-Time Key Stage 1 Teacher Chester area Daily rate: MPS for successful candidate £168.80 - 232.56* (pro-rated) *Supply rates available for unsuccessful applicants or those looking for daily supply options - £120 - £160 Are you an enthusiastic primary practitioner looking for a part-time teaching role in a welcoming school environment? Academics is currently recruiting a passionate Key Stage 1 teacher to join a vibrant primary school community located in Chester. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an educator seeking flexibility without compromising on classroom impact. Paid pro-rata on the Main Pay Scale (MPS M1-M3), the position offers the chance to lead an engaging Key Stage 1 class. Key Responsibilities for the Key Stage 1 Teacher: * Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, child-centred lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum. * Support early reading, phonics, and numeracy progression in a highly collaborative environment. * Foster high expectations and a positive classroom culture in an inclusive primary school in Chester. * Work alongside dedicated teaching assistants and staff to raise pupil attainment and progress. What We Are Looking For: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience as a Key Stage 1 teacher. * Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a commitment to child-centred learning. * A proactive dedication to your own professional development and ongoing education and training. * An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one through Academics).
