Systems Integration Engineer
On-site - West Sussex Long-term temporary assignment (via Hays)
We are currently recruiting for a Systems Integration Engineer to join a high-performing Total Vehicle Validation & Integration team supporting programmes for a prestigious, ultra-luxury automotive manufacturer. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of low-volume, high-complexity vehicles, where quality, craftsmanship and engineering precision are critical.
The Role
As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that vehicle systems are fully validated, production-ready, and meet exacting standards. Working at the interface of engineering and manufacturing, you will help ensure seamless integration into a bespoke, highly refined production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead system integration activities within total vehicle validation; Ensure all product variants are buildable and production-capable; Support launch readiness and vehicle maturity activities; Participate in and support prototype and build events; Assess system performance including fit, function, quality and customer-relevant characteristics; Analyse and resolve integration and production issues using structured problem-solving tools; Carry out tolerance and feasibility analysis to support product and process optimisation; Collaborate cross-functionally to identify risks and drive effective resolution; Ensure alignment between engineering intent and manufacturing capability; Contribute to planning, reporting, and programme delivery
What We're Looking For
Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment, supported by a degree, HND or equivalent experience
