The way great software gets built is changing fast andwerechanging with it.Haven Product& Technology are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to use Claude to ship resilient well-crafted software and is genuinely excited about weaving AI-powered experiences into products used by millions of holidaymakers every year.

Youlljoin a multidisciplinary team writing clean well-tested code that goes to production quickly and confidently.This is a high-impact role at the heart of a bold digital transformation. Your Opportunity

• Use AI development tools (Claude and equivalents) as part of your everyday workflow to accelerate delivery and raise quality

• Contribute to designing and building AI-powered features into Havens digital products

• Design build and ship well-crafted web applications straight into production

• Write clean resilient well-tested code - end-to-end problem solving from concept through to production

• Collaborate across a multidisciplinary team to decide when software is ready to ship

• Take ownership of how what you build performs in production

• Maintain high-quality documentation and share knowledge freely

• Improve NPS and customer scores through great engineering choices

• Contribute to a culture of continuous learningexperimentationand technical excellence

• Help shape how AI is adopted responsibly and effectively across the engineering team

Whatwedlike you to bring

• Fluency with ora strong desireto learn AI-assisted development tools anda track recordof using them to work smarter not just faster.

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScript TDD PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases) and React

• Full-stackexpertisewith an equal bias towards backend and frontend

• Solid experience of building responsive designs performance-optimisedinterfacesand best-in-class frontend components across a variety of third-party systems

• A core understanding of digital products(User cases users interactions)to build the right solution for the customer

• Comfortoperatingin a cloud-first environment

• A strong collaborative streak and a bias for shipping
