Job description
Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist
Location: West Sussex
Working Pattern: 2–2.5 Days per Week
Contract: Academic Year Contract
Start Date: September
Rate: £300 per day plus 55p per mile
KT Healthcare is a family-owned private healthcare company specialising in Neurodevelopmental, Brain Injury and Therapeutic Services. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support that enables children and young people to thrive.
We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing Therapeutic Services team, supporting children and young people aged 8–16 years who are receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision as part of their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
This is a 2 day per week position for the full academic year, starting in September.
About You
You will be HCPC registered and have experience working with children and young people with:
- Autism
- Social communication difficulties
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health needs
- Behaviours that challenge
You'll be confident undertaking assessments, delivering interventions and contributing to EHCP provision. Flexibility to travel throughout West Sussex is essential.
Successful candidates will also complete Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) training, fully funded as part of the role.
