About the Role:

Atlas Hotels is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Leeds City Centre. If you have previous experience in property maintenance and enjoy working in a dynamic environment wed love to hear from you! While qualifications are not essential experience in plumbing electrical work joinery painting and decorating or plastering would be beneficial.

In a Nutshell:
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our hotel ensuring that guest rooms public spaces and back-of-house areas are always in top condition. Youll perform both planned and reactive maintenance handling a variety of tasks to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms public spaces and back-of-house areas.
• Complete reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in our management system.
• Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
• Manage contractors on-site when required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health & safety requirements.
• Working alongside all colleagues within Atlas
• Liaise with your Area Maintenance Manager for larger maintenance projects and refurbishments.
• Share proactive insights with the Operational Property and Maintenance teams to improve guest services.

What Experience Do You Need

• Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.
• Trade experience in areas such as plumbing electrical work joinery painting and decorating or plastering is highly advantageous.
• Computer literacy (for compliance and audit tasks).
• Experience in water management compliance is a plus.
