Electrical Protection Engineer Up to £90,000 + Excellent Benefits Leeds, West Yorkshire The Role Are you an Electrical Protection Engineer with the expertise to deliver protection and control solutions for complex HV and EHV projects? We are looking for an experienced Electrical Protection Engineer to join our growing team in Leeds. You will work on a varied portfolio of transmission, distribution, renewable energy and battery energy storage projects across the UK. From early feasibility through to commissioning support, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality protection and control solutions that keep the nation's power flowing. Key Responsibilities: * Produce protection and control designs for HV and EHV substations up to 132kV. * Prepare protection philosophies, relay requirements, AC/DC schematics and technical specifications. * Develop protection single-line diagrams, interlocking schemes and control documentation. * Support the integration of protection, control, SCADA and communication systems. * Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery. * Attend technical meetings, design reviews and client workshops. * Provide engineering support during testing, commissioning and energisation. * Assist with technical proposals and mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
