Main duties of the job Your daily duties will include observing, assisting, and eventually performing a range of ultrasound examinations. You will learn to produce high‑quality images, make accurate observations, and communicate findings effectively to clinical colleagues. Person Specification Qualifications Essential * Educated to degree level or equivalent, have a post graduate accredited qualification in medical ultrasound * Must be state registered (HCPC or NMC) when eligible or Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT) Experience Essential * Must have relevant skills/knowledge/experience in the range of ultrasound techniques which are required * To possess a full understanding of ethical and moral issues to enable delivery of bad news to patients in an appropriate/empathetic manner * An understanding of the principles of the development and modernisation of the NHS, particularly in relation to imaging and the education of the healthcare workforce.
