What We Offer

💷 Salary:

Unqualified Lecturer: £29,294 per year

Qualified Lecturer: £31,885 - £40,814 per year (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)

Plus a £3,000 pro rata Specialist Skills Shortage Bonus

🕰️ Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

What You’ll Do

  • Teach and assess learners across Electrical Engineering programmes, including theoretical and practical learning activities
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive sessions across classroom, laboratory, and engineering environments
  • Support learners to develop knowledge and skills in electrical principles, electronic systems, automation, control technologies, fault diagnosis, and engineering practices
  • Embed current industry knowledge, emerging technologies, health and safety, sustainability, and professional standards into learning
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, learner support, and professionalism
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement, progression, and career readiness

What You’ll Bring

  • A Level 3 or above qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Relevant industry experience within electrical engineering, electronics, automation, manufacturing, maintenance, power systems, or related engineering sectors
  • Knowledge of current electrical engineering practices, technologies, and industry expectations
  • Experience supporting, mentoring, coaching, or developing others in a professional or technical environment
  • A teaching qualification is welcomed — but if you don’t have one yet, we’ll support you to achieve it while you work
