Rehabilitation Support Worker Location: Barnsley Salary: £13.45 per hour Vacancy Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent August and September Start Dates We invest in our staff team at the rare Platinum Level with Investors in People! Our service user needs are changing and therefore we are looking for individuals to start in August/ September! Working in a brain injury rehabilitation service is fast paced, dynamic we see people regain lost skills and confidence in order to move onto a more fulfilled life. We are looking for people with the following skills: Kind and caring Positive -with a can do attitude Enjoys working in a team Enjoys a varied role with every day being different Interested in people and rehabilitation Interested in learning new things Practical life experience Our environment is about growth - supporting people who have had a brain injury succeed in their rehabilitation goals but also the development of staff. If you have energy, a kindly disposition and a passion for supporting people to be their best this could be the role for you. We support individuals with an acquired brain injury to regain their skills, confidence and independence with the aim to return home or to more independent living. The Rehabilitation Support Workers, work alongside our neurotherapy team to implement goals and strategies. We dont need people with vast care experience as in-depth training and mentoring is given. What we are looking for is a variety of people who are kind, grounded, proactive people who love working in a positive creative team. Our Barnsley team have been awarded a very rare Outstanding in all areas in their CQC inspection and in their Headway, ABI approved provider scheme across all 6 domains. This is due to the great environment and outcomes in working with individuals regain their lives after accident or injury. We have excellent career development programmes and opportunities, including Management training programmes. This role is on a rota basis which includes evening and weekend work. The role will involve all aspects of personal care depending on the needs of people in the service. Bank/ occasional, part time and full-time positions are available.
