Salary: £25,220–£26,750 per annum (non‑negotiable) Annual Leave: 42 days off each year – 30 days’ annual leave, 4 paid closure days and 8 bank holidays Pension Contributions: 10% employer contributions Family Support: Enhanced maternity/parental leave and paid compassionate leave Flexible Working: Hybrid setup with 2 days a week in our office at The Mere, Upton, with easy access to Windsor, Maidenhead, Reading, the Elizabeth Line and the M4. Full‑time (35 hours) JOB DESCIPTION As an HR Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in inbox management and first level support to a range of enquiries. You’ll focus on conducting compliance checks and maintaining accurate HR data to support reporting and audit requirements. You’ll also be supporting our facilities team with their administration and working on reception in the office one day a week. Key Responsibilities * Monitor and respond promptly to queries in relevant inboxes, supporting with policy compliance. * Conduct legal and compliance checks for new employees and Associates, including right to work and DBS checks. * Issuing new starter employment and Associate contracts and documentation, and add new starters to the relevant systems. * Maintaining accurate records for NFERs workforce, compliant with GDPR. * Support recruitment and selection administration by coordinating tasks, communicating with candidates, and providing timely updates to managers. * Working flexibly with colleagues, adapting priorities and roles as required. PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Skills And Experience * An HR qualification at Foundation level, equivalent to CIPD Level 3 (or working towards/willingness to complete) or similar HR experience. * GCSE English Language at grade 4/C or above, or an equivalent English language qualification, such as CEFR level C1. * A high standard of written English, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, well‑structured and grammatically correct professional correspondence and documents. * Proven administrative experience in a customer‑centric culture. * Proficiency in using and working with HR/facilities databases and systems. * Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines. * Expert in maintaining accurate records, following workflows, and supporting compliance with policies and regulations. Other roles you may have experience of include: HR Assistant, Office Administrator or Recruitment Administrator. WHY NFER?
