Full-time (5 days per week), Term Time + 4 Weeks An Outstanding Specialist College in Sutton is seeking a
Speech & Language Therapist
to join its multidisciplinary team on a maternity cover basis. The college supports young people and adults with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), communication difficulties and complex medical needs. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, person-centred Speech & Language Therapy, carrying out assessments, developing communication and eating & drinking programmes, supporting the use of AAC, and working closely with teaching staff, families and external professionals to maximise student outcomes. Requirements: Degree in Speech & Language Therapy (or equivalent) HCPC registration and eligibility for RCSLT membership Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or autism Knowledge of AAC and eating & drinking assessments Previous experience within an educational setting is desirable The college offers excellent professional development opportunities, generous pension schemes, wellbeing support, salary sacrifice schemes, employee discounts and clear pathways for career progression within a leading specialist education trust.
