Job Title: Lettings Consultant Location: Brentwood Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 basic (OTE £25,000+) About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Candidate to join their successful and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills, a professional approach, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in supporting tenants and landlords throughout the lettings process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from enquiry through to move-in. Key Responsibilities * Liaise with prospective tenants to understand their needs and requirements * Match applicants with suitable rental properties * Conduct property viewings and provide a high level of customer service * Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants * Negotiate rental terms between all parties * Carry out property inspections to ensure standards are maintained * Maintain accurate records using internal systems * Provide professional communication via phone, email, and face-to-face Candidate Requirements Essential * Experience in an office-based or professional environment * Strong customer-facing experience (in person and over the phone) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Professional, confident, and well-presented * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop * IT literate (MS Office and able to pick up new systems quickly) * Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Desirable * Previous experience within lettings, estate agency, or property * Background in sales, customer service, or call centre environments * Experience working in a target-driven environment Key Attributes * People-focused with strong relationship-building skills * Driven and motivated to succeed * Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and organisation * Professional and presentable at all times What’s on Offer * Competitive basic salary with OTE earning potential * Structured training and development * Clear career progression opportunities * Birthday day off * Company pension * Team events and incentives * Performance-related rewards and recognition * Referral programme * Increasing holiday entitlement with service Working Hours * Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm * Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm * Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm (5-day week with a day off in lieu) J-18808-Ljbffr
