Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher - Retford

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of supportive primary schools throughout Retford.
This Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher opportunity offers the chance to teach across Year 1 and Year 2 while enjoying the flexibility of supply work. Working as a Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher in Retford provides variety, flexibility and valuable experience across different primary school environments.
Position: Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher in Retford, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire pupils, helping them develop confidence and strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics.
The Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher role in Retford is ideal for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers looking to build experience across a range of welcoming primary schools.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 * Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners * Support pupils' academic and personal development * Maintain positive classroom behaviour * Assess pupil progress and provide feedback * Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Enthusiastic and adaptable approach * Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
