Where you'll be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.

We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our wastewater Storm Overflow Alliance project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What you'll be doing?

You’ll engage with projects from the outset, identifying risks early and supporting planning to ensure smooth delivery. Maintaining high standards in health, safety and compliance will be key, including issuing permits and resolving actions promptly. You’ll supervise site activities, manage subcontractors and visitors, deliver toolbox talks, and monitor on-site performance. Effective management of site set-up, labour, materials and equipment will ensure efficient progress. You’ll also monitor project milestones, escalate risks where needed, and support programme reporting. Above all, you’ll oversee workmanship quality, making sure all work meets design specs, ITPs and is thoroughly documented to the highest standard.

What you'll bring?

Do you hold a valid Water SHEA or CSCS card?

Do you have Qualified Supervisor status under NRSWA?

Do you have a valid UK driving licence?

Do you have experience managing both subcontractors and directly employed teams?

Do you hold an SMSTS qualification (or higher), and can you make effective decisions on site in a fast-paced environment?
