Essential Requirements\n

To be considered for this SEN Teacher role in Shirley, you must have:

    \n
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
  • \n
  • Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies
  • \n
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • \n
  • The right to work in the UK
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • \n
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • \n

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Maintain accurate assessment and progress records
