Job description
Estates Project Manager needed in Lincoln Paying £23.72 per hr ref 376715 Full time hours on a temporarybasis Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, including consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal specialists. Provide clear direction and coordination to ensure successful delivery of estate development, refurbishment, infrastructure, and property improvement projects. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved governance frameworks, project methodologies, and organisational policies. Project Planning & Control Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans aligned to RIBA stages and project delivery milestones. Coordinate internal resources and external suppliers to achieve project objectives. Track progress against agreed deliverables and report on performance, risks, issues, and dependencies. Ensure project documentation remains accurate and up to date throughout the project lifecycle. Financial Management Manage project budgets in accordance with approved Business Cases and Capital Programme funding. Monitor expenditure, forecast costs, and identify any budget variances. Ensure value for money is achieved across all estate investments. Support whole-life costing and investment appraisal activities. Risk, Compliance& Governance Identify, assess, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, Building Regulations, and all relevant statutory requirements. Escalate significant risks, issues, and opportunities to senior stakeholders where required. Ensure robust governance, assurance, and compliance processes are embedded throughout project delivery. Estates & Property Expertise Act as a subject matter expert for estates project delivery. Provide specialist advice on property, facilities, and building-related matters. Support stakeholders in understanding estate opportunities, constraints, and operational impacts. Promote best practice in estate planning, asset utilisation, sustainability, and workplace design. Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain effective relationships with senior leaders, service managers, property professionals, consultants, contractors, and external partners. Develop and implement communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed of project progress, risks, impacts, and key decisions. Support operational teams through building works, relocations, refurbishments, and service changes. Programme & Strategic Alignment Ensure projects align with wider portfolio and programme objectives. Contribute to the successful delivery of Estates Strategies, Asset Management Plans, and organisational transformation initiatives. Identify opportunities for collaboration, shared facilities, co-location, and estate optimisation. Represent the organisation at project boards, steering groups, and external partnership forums where required. Change & Transition Management Support the implementation of new facilities, relocations, and workplace changes. Minimise disruption to operational services during project delivery. Ensure smooth transition into new or refurbished environments. Promote effective adoption of new buildings, facilities, and working practices.
