We're looking for an experienced HR / Employee Relations Advisor to join our growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who thrives on Employee Relations, enjoys building trusted relationships with managers, and wants to work across a diverse range of organisations and industries.
Working alongside our People Director, you'll become part of the team while also benefiting from access to a wider national network of over 200 HR professionals, giving you opportunities to learn, share knowledge and continue your professional development.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same. You'll provide expert HR and ER advice, helping managers/business owners confidently navigate a wide range of people matters while ensuring compliance with current employment legislation and best practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing practical, commercially focused HR and Employee Relations advice to managers across a variety of client organisations.
- Managing and supporting Employee Relations cases, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, absence management and probation reviews.
- Producing clear, accurate HR documentation and correspondence.
- Keeping up to date with employment law developments and applying them in a practical way to support clients.
- Working on a variety of exciting HR projects, including HR system implementations, organisational restructures, business growth initiatives, acquisitions, learning and development programmes and culture change projects.
- Building trusted relationships with managers, providing confidence and reassurance through complex people situations.
About you
You'll be an experienced HR professional with a genuine passion for Employee Relations and case management. You enjoy solving problems, balancing commercial needs with legal compliance, and delivering excellent service.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisory, Employee Relations or HR Case Management role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience applying it confidently in real-life situations.
- Excellent judgement and sound decision-making skills.
- The confidence to identify and escalate complex or high-risk issues when appropriate.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Outstanding administration and documentation skills.
- A proactive, approachable style with a high level of integrity.
- A genuine passion for helping people and a desire to grow alongside an ambitious business.

- Salary: £35k-£40K Pro rata
- Hours: Up to 24 hours per week (3 days), with flexibility around working hours and the opportunity to increase to 4 days over time.
