Job description

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a C+E Bulk Powder Tanker Driver to join our Breedon Cement team in Dagenham. No tanker experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
As a Bulk Powder Tanker Driver, responsible for collecting and delivering powder products to various construction outfits in London and the home counties you will make up part of a network that enables Breedon to offer deliveries nationwide.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a Monday to Friday pattern, starting between 04:00 - 07:00 guaranteed 48 hours per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Safely operate a Cat CE Bulk Powder Tanker to collect and deliver powder products for the construction industry
- Load and discharge powder products using pressurised systems, following all safety protocols
- Conduct vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
- Complete all required documentation and delivery records accurately
- Contracted 2 nights out per week.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Valid Category CE (Class 1) UK driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience operating bulk powder tankers (preferred, but training provided)
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- This can be a physical role ensuring handling equipment safely
