The Role
Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Key Responsibilities
As an HLTA, you will:
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons
- Lead small-group and 1:1 intervention sessions to accelerate pupil progress
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
- Promote pupils' confidence, wellbeing, and personal development
- Prepare learning resources and contribute to assessment and progress tracking
- Provide tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and wider school professionals
- Deliver lessons and provide classroom cover when required

The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working as an HLTA or within a senior classroom support role
- Be passionate about helping children achieve their potential
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to learning support
- Be confident working independently and as part of a team
- Show a strong commitment to inclusion and supporting diverse learning needs
- Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)
