You'll support pupils who may experience challenges with behaviour, emotional regulation or engagement in education. Through patience, consistency and positive relationships, you'll help young people feel understood, develop confidence and make progress both in and beyond the classroom.

Why work with Protocol Education?

We understand that behaviour support requires patience, resilience and the right environment. Our team will support you throughout your placement and help you develop the skills needed to build a rewarding career in education.

  • Supporting learners during lessons and structured activities
  • Encouraging emotional regulation and positive decision-making
  • Using consistent behaviour strategies and clear boundaries
  • Supporting pupils during challenging moments
  • Helping learners re-engage with education
  • Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams and specialist staff
  • Recognising progress and celebrating positive achievements

What we're looking for

You'll be calm, resilient and able to remain professional in challenging situations. You'll understand that behaviour can communicate an unmet need and be willing to take a patient, relationship-led approach.

You'll also be:

  • A confident communicator
  • Consistent and reliable
  • Adaptable and proactive
  • Passionate about supporting young people
