The HGV Mechanic is responsible for maintaining inspecting repairing and servicing the Councils fleet of heavy goods vehicles light commercial vehicles and specialist plant to ensure they remain safe compliant and operational. Working across the Councils depots the postholder plays a vital role in supporting frontline services by ensuring vehicles meet DVSA Operator Licence and MOT requirements while delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.
