Your new company Hays Senior Finance are supporting a large, complex organisation in Birmingham with the recruitment of a Financial Reporting Manager on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading provider of facilities management and maintenance services across the UK. Your new role Reporting into an excellent Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the business meets all of its statutory, regulatory and shareholder financial reporting obligations. Key duties: Support with the production of statutory accounts, shareholder reporting and external audits Production of rolling cashflow forecasts Manage relationships with banking partners and the central Treasury function Oversee fixed assets and lease accounting, ensuring assets are accurately recorded in line with IFRS Management of balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and CIS reporting Lead the Purchase to Pay (P2P) team, developing staff whilst improving efficiencies and service delivery Provide expert financial guidance whilst driving improvements in processes, controls and reportingWhat you'll need to succeed Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3-4 years' post-qualification experience in either financial reporting or financial control (suitable for a 2nd or 3rd time mover from practice) E...
