Fitness / Leisure Management NVQ Assessor

Trainee or Qualified. Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Must be flexible with travel across Lincolnshire, Peterborough and surrounding areas. Your duties will include the following: * Delivering full Apprenticeship qualifications in Active Leisure up to Level 3. * Deliveringvia a blended learning approach(Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning). * Delivering Functional Skills in Maths and English Level 2. * Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. * Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress. * Support, advise and motivate learners. * Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs. * Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE * Must hold strongoccupational competency within Fitness/Active Leisure as a General/Fitness Manager. * Must have wet-side experience (specifically with experience in pool/water testing) * Must hold the following qualifications: Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction; Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Personal Training; Level 3 Nutrition. * Must be confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills. * Must be IT literate. * Full driving licence and use of own vehicle. * Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. * Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. To be an Assessor you would need to hold either an; A1/2, D32/33, or CAVA which we have a link to HERE. Similarly so, to be a FE practitioner, in other words, a Trainer, you should hold at a minimum the AET (Level 3 Award in Education and Training).
