Course Administrator - Global Surgery

We are looking for a

part-time Course Administrator to work in our Graduate Studies team. You will be based in the John Radcliffe Hospital but you may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager. We would usually expect that hours will be worked across at least three days, which must include Thursdays, but flexibility can be considered. As part of the core administrative team of the department, you will provide high quality administrative support to ensure smooth running of Masters course in Global Surgery. You will work together with the Global Surgery Team and will primarily be responsible for a part-time, distance learning MSc in Global Surgery. The course will launch in the 2027-28 academic year, and is closely linked to our well-established full-time annual Global Surgery Summer School course based in Oxford. This is a part-time, permanent post and is available immediately. About you The successful candidate will have previous administrative experience, preferably in higher education, with an interest in higher education and Global Education. You will be highly organised, computer literate, and be able to deal with competing deadlines. You should be comfortable communicating clearly with students, have a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues across the University, and be able to respond flexibly to the demands of the post. Experience of using Panopto, Canvas, Microsoft Teams and e-Vision, or similar software, would be desirable, as these tools will be utilised on a frequent basis in this role. Application Process
