\nSchool Administrator - SEN School Job Purpose\n
Monarch Education is seeking an organised and professional School Administrator to support the day-to-day running of a school in Nottingham. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions, acting as a key point of contact for staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous administrative experience who can work efficiently in a fast-paced educational environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider school staff.
\n - Manage the school's reception area and act as the first point of contact for visitors, pupils, parents, and external agencies.
\n - Answer telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
\n - Maintain accurate pupil records and update school databases and management information systems.
\n - Process attendance information and support attendance monitoring procedures.
\n - Produce letters, reports, meeting minutes, and other school documentation.
\n - Support the administration of admissions, pupil transfers, and leavers.
\n - Assist with maintaining safeguarding records and confidential files.
\n - Coordinate meetings, appointments, and school events as required.
\n - Process orders, invoices, and other financial administration duties where necessary.
\n - Ensure compliance with school policies, GDPR requirements, and confidentiality procedures.
\n - Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the school office.

Person Specification Essential Criteria\n
\n - Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
\n - Excellent organisational and time management skills.
\n - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
\n - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
\n - High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
\n - Professional and friendly approach when dealing with staff, parents, and pupils.
\n - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n - Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
\n - Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Criteria\n
\n - Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
\n - Experience using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or ScholarPack.
\n - Knowledge of attendance procedures and safeguarding processes.
\n - Experience handling confidential information and pupil records.
\n
