The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred clinical care, contribute to the ongoing development of the practice and help us maintain the highest standards of care for our diverse patient population. Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP at Alwoodley Medical Centre, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care through routine and urgent GP consultations, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of our practice population. You will have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while contributing to the ongoing development of clinical services and quality improvement initiatives.

This is a permanent role for 6 to 8 clinical sessions per week, offering flexibility and an excellent work-life balance within a supportive and collaborative practice. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and a dedicated wider practice team, with access to regular clinical meetings, peer support and opportunities for continuing professional development.

We are looking for a GP who is committed to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care, enjoys working collaboratively, and is keen to play an active role in the continued success of our practice and the health of our local community.

About us
Alwoodley Medical Centre is a well-established, friendly GP practice committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, inclusive and collaborative working environment where every member of the team is valued and encouraged to contribute to the continued development of the practice.

Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced GPs, nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants and dedicated administrative and reception staff who work closely together to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care. We believe in open communication, teamwork and supporting one another to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients.

We are committed to the wellbeing and professional development of our staff, offering a positive working culture, regular clinical meetings, opportunities for continuing professional development and a strong emphasis on achieving a healthy work-life balance. As part of a forward-thinking practice, we embrace innovation and continually look for ways to improve our services while maintaining continuity of care for our patients.

Joining Alwoodley Medical Centre means becoming part of a welcoming, experienced team where your skills and contribution will be recognised, and where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the health and wellbeing of the local community.
