Job description

Lead Care Support Worker - The Oakleaf Group
Location: Duston Northampton
Permanent| Full-time|37.5 hours per week (rota-based)
Rates: £13.54 per hour

The Oakleaf Group are seeking to recruit a Lead Care Support Worker for our service in Duston The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours with the confidence to lead and support a team around them.

About the Service - The Oakleaf Group

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established multi disciplinary team working within the field of acquired brain injury. The Oakleaf Group currently caters for a male client base specialising in neurological rehabilitation across various sites.

Working for this Leading Care Provider you will be instrumental in the provision of care and therefore it is desirable that you have a proven track record working in a similar position within the care sector.

The Role

You will:

The Lead Care Support Worker will work as a key member of our Multidisciplinary Care Team in maintaining and delivering a high standard of holistic resident care, 24 hours a day. You will implement and effectively assist in the day-to-day running of all prescribed resident care packages along with assisting in meeting all basic care needs.

The successful candidate will need to be a driver, with access to their own vehicle, or the means of transport to travel to rural work locations.

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
  • Drivers
  • Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
